SIAR Research and Consulting Group of Companies (hereinafter, SIAR), has grown on the basis of SIAR Social and Marketing Research Center, which was established in October 1993. As a result of its successful work on the research market and constantly increasing number of projects two more companies were established with the aim to diversify business by spheres of activity. Therefore, currently, besides the Center, SIAR, the oldest and biggest entity in the relevant economic sector of Azerbaijan, also includes SIAR Media and SIAR Consulting, and is one of the leaders of the research and consulting market of Azerbaijan. And in the end of the year of 2007, SIAR has opened its representative office in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), which also covers other Central Asian countries within the framework of research projects. In 1997 SIAR became the first Azerbaijani company to have membership in ESOMAR (The World Association of Research Professionals), in 2009 it entered WAPOR (the World Association of Public Opinion Research) and ISA (International Sociological Association), and in 2010 it has become a member of MSPA (Mystery Shopping Providers Association).
