Khazar University is located in Baku, Azerbaijan on 11 Mehseti St.. Khazar University is rated 4.6 out of 5 in the category education management in Azerbaijan. Founded in 1991 by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, Khazar University became one of the first private universities in Eastern Europe, The Caucasus, Central Asia and the first in Azerbaijan to introduce Western-style, research-oriented higher education. The university applies a student-centered educational model where the main language of instruction is English.
